Project overview
A proposed hotel development forming part of the wider Accu Stadium complex in Huddersfield.
Carl Bebbington was part of the team leading the civil and structural engineering input through the planning-stage development of the scheme during his role with Clancy Consulting.
The work involved development of the structural and civil engineering strategy to support the planning proposals, including coordination with the wider multidisciplinary design team and consideration of the relationship between the proposed hotel, surrounding infrastructure and the existing stadium environment.
The project illustrates experience in the early-stage development of hotel and leisure projects where structural strategy, civil engineering, buildability and coordination need to be considered together before detailed design.
