Using this website, submitting the enquiry form or corresponding with the studio does not create a professional appointment or any duty of care in relation to a project.

Structural engineering services are provided only under a separate written appointment setting out the agreed scope, deliverables, programme assumptions, fee and terms.

The engineering tools published on this website are preliminary aids for early-stage comparison only. They do not constitute a design, are not a substitute for project-specific analysis or professional judgement, and must not be relied upon for construction. Results should be verified by a competent engineer for the specific project.

Use of the Steelwork Quote Builder does not constitute a quotation, an offer or acceptance of an order. Any quotation is issued separately in writing.

Sketches, schedules and weights generated by the tool are enquiry information only. They are not fabrication or construction drawings, and entering a steel section does not constitute structural verification of that section. Fabrication does not proceed solely from information generated on this website.

Structural design responsibility is determined by the written appointment or order. Structural designs prepared by another engineer remain the responsibility of that designer; submitting such information through this website does not constitute adoption, checking or independent verification of it by Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd unless a checking or design scope is expressly accepted in writing.

Using the Resource Centre, viewing results and downloading the standard Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd calculation output are free and require no account. Professional Export is an optional paid feature that applies your own company logo and document controls to the same calculation output for a fixed period from the time of purchase, as stated at checkout.

Payment is taken by our payment provider on a secure hosted checkout page. Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd does not receive or store your card details. Access is granted only after the provider confirms payment, and applies to the device and browser used to make the purchase.

Professional Export changes document presentation only. It does not alter the calculation, does not constitute a design check, and does not make the output a Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd design. Every professional document retains a statement that it was generated using the Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd Resource Centre and that it is a preliminary, informational calculation that has not been checked by Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd. This attribution must not be removed, obscured or altered.

By uploading a logo you confirm that you own it or are authorised to use it, and you grant Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd permission to store and reproduce it solely to generate your own documents. Logos are deleted shortly after the pass expires. You remain responsible for the use you make of any branded document you produce.

Because the feature is delivered immediately, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital services does not apply once exports have been produced. If the feature fails technically, or a pass was purchased and never used, contact the studio and a refund will be considered; refunds revoke the entitlement.

The content, branding, text and layout of this website belong to Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd or to the respective rights holders, and may not be reproduced without permission. Photographs of representative projects remain the property of the respective photographer or rights holder; please contact the studio regarding attribution or removal.

This website may link to third-party websites. Those sites are not controlled by the studio, and no responsibility is accepted for their content or availability.

Named projects and organisations referred to on this website reflect the professional experience of Carl Bebbington gained through previous employment and do not necessarily represent direct appointments of Bebbington Engineering Studio Ltd. Individual roles and responsibilities varied between projects.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, the studio does not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on the general information or preliminary tools published on this website. Liability in relation to engineering services is governed by the written appointment for those services.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
