Weights are calculated from nominal published section masses and the lengths entered. They exclude connections, plates, fittings, coatings and fabrication tolerances, and are intended for indicative handling, delivery and enquiry purposes only.
Section masses are nominal published values (SCI P363 for open sections, BS EN 10210 for hot-finished hollow sections, BS EN 10056 for angles). Availability, mill tolerances and actual delivered mass may differ.
